Fairtrade & Organic

This collection is made from Fairtrade and GOTS Organic cotton, certifed by Fairtrade and GOTS. All of the products carry a woven tag, either on the inside or outside, that has the Fairtrade logo and GOTS logo.

Organic
GOTS Organic cotton is grown without pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers. An organic cotton bag has been grown in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Our entire supply chain has to adhere to a stringent set of requirements from the harvesting of the cotton, to environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing through to our printing and operating processes.

BIDBI are one of the very few printing companies in Europe to be a certified GOTS processing facility. This means that even when your organic bag has been printed, it remains organic. This is achieved by each step throughout the printing process complying with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).  

Fairtrade
This product is made from Fairtrade Certified Cotton and carries the Fairtrade Cotton Mark. For a cotton tote bag to carry the Fairtrade certification mark, the cotton farmers must meet Fairtrade Standards. From the growing and processing of the cotton to the manufacturing of the bag, all areas have to be compliant to meet the Fairtrade Standard for cotton.
