Warehouse Stock Controller

Essential skills

  • External and/or inhouse MHE experience (Full updated license will be carried out upon successful appointment)
  • Full and valid Drivers License including Class C.

We are looking for a Stock Controller/ Warehouse Operative who is organised and understands stock management for our warehouse operation as part of our network. You will be responsible for fulfilling the stock needs at our Print Factory in Sheffield (Rutland Road S3).

You will be required to operate MHE such as a forklift and to drive the Company van to move stock between sites. Therefore,  previous in-house MHE experience is required however, we will provide training to validate and fulfil license requirements for our business. In addition, in order to be successful in this role, it is a requirement that you hold a full, valid drivers’ licence covering you to drive Class C vehicles.

Although you will operate as part of a wider team this is a standalone role and therefore the ideal candidate must be driven, self-disciplined and be able to work to specific deadlines.

The ability to take and maintain accurate stock take and update the systems is essential.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
  • Move and stack materials
  • Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
  • Rotate floor stock
  • General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
  • Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
  • Receive/process shipments
  • Inspect and maintain equipment
  • reporting any faults or wear and tear

Level: Entry Level/ Based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Starting rates: £6.50-£8.72 per hour
