At BIDBI we love helping amazing causes. We often donate spare and misprinted bags to food banks, charity shops, and those running charitable events for events and day to day use.
This December we were contacted by The Soup Kitchen in London, a resource for the homeless, elderly, lonely and poor. Providing free hot meals, clothes, toiletries, offering a sense of belonging and community, as well as offering support and services for those who need it. BIDBI was able to provide bags to use in their Holiday dinner event, to be filled with hats, socks, gloves, toiletries, and goodies for those in need.
Despite social distancing limitations, the event this year was a great success thanks to their wonderful volunteers who worked so hard cooking and organising a smooth event, and the organisers got in touch with some photos. It is so wonderful to see where our bags end up, especially when they are for such a wonderful cause.
If you are in London and are interested in helping out, visit The Soup Kitchen’s website to see how you can get involved.
Remember there are food banks and food drives all over the country. If you would like to get involved, visit the Trussell Trust website where you can find your local food bank.
If you are a food bank, or charity in need of bags then get in touch with Arnika, by emailing her on firstname.lastname@example.org.Tweet
