Pulse

How did you find the show?

Rachel: I didn’t arrive until late Wednesday afternoon so it was quite quiet, I was able to speak to a few potential clients and existing clients which was nice to put a face to a name 😊

Gwyn: I love trade shows because I am able to meet old and new clients alike. Being the account manager for the fashion sector, Pulse is an important show for me to attend plus all the brands at the show are fabulous and I get to do a bit of shopping myself.

Lucy: May was a busy month for sales at BIDBI. We are now a 6-woman strong team, with each member bringing something different to the table making us a successful and happy team. I attended Pulse to meet many of my Giftware and Lifestyle clients.

What was the best part of the show?

Gwyn: I think it was finding some reusable rose gold straws that have a little carry case, I've been on the look out for some since the news broke that everyone is banning plastic straws. But now I don't need to worry, I can sip my drink in style!

Rachel: The hall was full of fabulous jewellery and fashion products, I was able to get a free personalised necklace and loads of brochures for AW/18 collections- I’ve already planned what I want to buy!

Lucy: I met one of my favourite clients Arthouse Meath a social enterprise group and design studio based. ARTHOUSE Meath creates unique artwork in an effort to showcase the talents of people living with severe epilepsy, learning or physical disabilities.

What is the next show you'll be attending?

Rachel: My next trade show I will be attending is Home & Gift in July, this is very much up my street so I cant wait to meet new clients and preview their products.

Gwyn: The next exhibition I'll go to is Top Drawer A/W. I love Top Drawer, it's always such a busy show and the buzz is amazing. If you're attending, be sure to pop by our stand and say hi!

Museums & Heritage

How did you find the show?

Rachel: This was my first show where I was there from start to finish so it was good to see how the whole process works.

Lucy: Museums and Heritage is one of the smaller shows that I attend, it has a very relaxed atmosphere and is visited by some big names, from National Gallery to the BBC!

What was the best part of the show?

Rachel: Our stand was right next to the café (pro’s and cons). It was great as we had a lot of interest while people were queuing up for a brew! It was a nice event as there was a lot of interaction however I didn’t feel too overwhelmed which was good. We had a lovely apartment in Kensington so was surrounded by nice bars and restaurants- bonus

Lucy: This was the first time I had done a show with Rachel since she started at BIDBI in March and it was great seeing her in her element. We also had a cute apartment in Kensington which meant we got to explore an area we don't usually stay in!

What is the next show you'll be attending?

Rachel: My next trade show I will be attending is Home & Gift in July, this is very much up my street so I cant wait to meet new clients and preview their products.

Lucy: We'll be at Harrogate Home and Gift where I hope to meet some more of my clients!
