The Wool Barn is a small hand dyed yarn studio based in Hertfordshire, England. We are passionate about knitting and love working with wool. We carefully choose the highest quality yarns from trusted UK suppliers and lovingly dye them in our home studio, using professional wool dyes and natural binding agents.
We only use recycled and biodegradable materials in our packaging, when you receive a parcel from us you can rest assured that it will have a minimal impact on the environment.

How did you come up with the design for your zip purse?
The design was created about a year ago for our shop logo. From the beginning I knew I wanted to incorporate an image of a sheep into our design to reflect the origin of our products (hand dyed yarns). Our logo is a hand drawn image of a Herdwick sheep, a native British breed currently classified as a rare breed. I also wanted our logo to have a traditional look with a modern twist, this was achieved by experimenting with different fonts and layouts until we finally settled on the current design.
What will the zip purses be used for?
The zip purses will be used as project bags for knitters and crocheters, they are the perfect size for carrying small portable projects.
Have you used BIDBI before?
No, this is our first time using BIDBI and it has been an excellent experience, we have many ideas for future projects and can't wait to work with BIDBI again.
