This week our sister company and sustainable tote bag brand, Made By Talented Ltd. (Talented) is sharing their latest news. Talented collaborates with emerging designers each season to put art on your arm!  We print the designs onto prewashed cotton canvas bags at our eco-printing factory in Sheffield. They rotate the designs each season but much of our work is in printing the customized Cityscape designs, which are map like illustrations drawn by Talented’s and BIDBI’s founder: Julia Gash. Core colours are red, blue and black ink, created in a hand drawn style, which makes it easy for us to print!

New 1973 -Talented Tote Collaboration for 2016

We have just printed a new canvas bag range for Talented’s Spring Summer 2016 Collection incorporating bright neon inks and shiny, metallic foil prints. The vintage style prints, adapted from the 1973 Letterpress greeting card collection, display a vibrancy of colour that’s so bright that they demand the wearing of shades! The quirky slogans reference French and American sayings, giving the range an international, vintage feel.

Talented Cityscapes Win Best Dressed Award

Every week we’re printing different Cityscape designs onto a range of canvas tote bags and zip purses. Whether it’s the Falklands or Fukushima, designer and CEO, Julia Gash is covering the world with her map like illustrations of different places. Drawn in a naive style, her interest in architectural detail and the shape and character of a building is an honest, playful and unique interpretation of the world we live in. Talented recently won the Best Stand Award at the Museums Association annual trade show in Birmingham. Read the blog here for more of the story.

Talented Pop-up Shop

Talented has just launched a series of Pop Ups Shops in England. The shared space and ephemeral characteristic of Pop Ups can help to bring together artisans and designers under one roof and create interesting retail environments, such as Bird's Yard in Sheffield and Lik Neon, in Brick Lane, London.
