This week's blog comes courtesy of Alec's Cards, one of our recent clients who came to visit our eco-factory last month. They were so happy with their canvas bags that they wrote a blog about their experience with us! Here's what they had to say:

Our quest to find an ethically sourced canvas bag with printing done in the UK, ended up at Sheffield based firm BIDBI (Bag It Don't Bin It)...

The reason we chose to work with BIDBI was not just the quality of their product and their helpfulness with our many questions....

BIDBI are committed to working with fair trade certified factories over in India to produce their bags..

BIDBI are also committed to offering work to local people who have been long-term unemployed, offering apprenticeships where employees can work up to the role of Master Printer. They currently employ around 20 local people.

You can read more about BIDBI's ethical commitment at

We went to see them and have a look around the printing factory, and also to meet the helpful staff we have been having direct contact with.

The screen printing machine and the quality control area... and Claire. The team were just working on London Fashion Week bags...

We also had a look around the office, and got to meet more friendly folk... Here we see a stash of their favourite bag designs that get sent out as samples... is that two different Alec's Cards bag designs we see??
