It might not feel like it right now, especially with the intermittent snow fall and cold bitterly winds, but spring has sprung... there's even daffodils to prove it. Designers and retailers have launched their spring collections with a hopeful air that we'll get the weather to go with them soon.
There's an 80's resurgence this spring, and it's even more supercharged. On the catwalks it was nipped wasits, strong shoulders and puffy arms, on the high street think slogans and high waisted jeans. The 90's might still seem to have it but the bold bright colours, sequins and strong patterns of the 80s will slowly takeover
All shades of pink are in. Mix up your outfit with different tones and step into this season with a spring in your step. Layering colours with even just a slight difference makes a boring outift stand out.
Give your logo an on trend spring update and use different pinks for an eye catching design on a limited ediition tote bag.
Flowery trends are a spring regular but this year their bolder and punchier. Bright flowers in an all over print on everything from bags to jumpsuit will be hot this season.
Graphic print especially on bags is a must have, Eye-catching prints give big impact. Checks, stripes, polka dots, you name it—if it’s bold and bright, it’s on trend.
Shine on Shine
Metallics were big on the catwalks, remember Versace's nod to it's founder with gold chain metal clad supermodels? A spring take on the bold look see's pastel colours such as lilac and pink giving the shine a more subtle feel. If even that't too much for you layer with denim or plaid to dress it down.
