The curtain has closed on another successful Top Drawer. It's one of our favourite trade shows, held in the wonderful Kensington Olympia twice a year, because of the great exhibitors and visitors alike.

We sent our fab account managers, Emma, Heather and Gwyn down to meet our customers and inroduce BIDBI to new ones!

Emma: Last weekend BIDBI attended Top Drawer Autumn at Olympia London, it was the first trade show that I have taken part in since joining BIDBI in April and I was really excited about what the experience would have to offer and it definitely didn’t disappoint!.

Top drawer was a great experience for my first trade show, the atmosphere was great! It was very busy with people out and about enjoying what the show had to offer, which included a wide range of homeware, gifts, food and fashion; really something for everybody.

From visitors to exhibitors all gave us a brilliant response! We spent our time at Top Drawer working to help potential and existing customers visualise new and exciting ideas which hopefully will come to print in the near future.

Heather: For the short time I spent down at the show I enjoyed wandering round chatting to exhibitors on they’re the vibrant, eye-catching stands. There was a buzz in the air as all the visitors and buyers bustled around the building. The venue itself was the nicest I had been to, bright and spacious with a big arched window that lit up the main hall.

One of my account book sectors is Giftware & lifestyle so my main priority was to approach companies that were looking for cotton bags or accessories to sell within their range. I also met a lot of independent artists who were exciting about branching out and translating the artwork from their cards onto cotton bags as well.

Ultimately the best part of the show for me was being handed copious amounts of posh tea and chocolate samples!

Gwyn: Top Drawer was my first BIDBI trade show! Myself and Heather joined the stand for the final day of the show to give a helping hand, as well as seeing what Olympia had to offer. There was an array likeminded eco companies that loved what BIDBI stood for and of course our bags too. It was amazing meeting our existing customers – placing a face to the voice in addition to speaking with new customers. There was so much to soak in with so little time, I cannot wait for Top Drawer 2018!
