Happy Birthday BIDBI

  • 17th July 2017

On Friday 14th July we celebrated our 10th birthday with an open day. Clients, suppliers, local businesses and dignitaries attended, and had a tour of our factory as well as being able to print their own bag.

It was great to be able to meet our clients who we'd only ever spoken over the phone too and to be able to show them where and how their bags got printed. We met the lovely ladies from TOFT who got some more ideas of ways they can incorporate our bags into their products.

We also spoke to Green Councilors Natalie Bennett and Douglas Johnson about how to better the environmental efficiency of our building. Supporting local business is important to both BIDBI and The Green Party so it was lovely to talk more about that as well as other green issues in Sheffield, such as the Save The Trees initiative and how we could help.

The Lord Mayor of SheffieldCouncilor Anne Murphy, also attended and was impressed with the size of the our operation. She stayed to cut the cake and cheers to many more years of BIDBI!
