- 13th April 2016
For many of us, coffee is an important part of the day; from our early morning espresso fix before a business meeting, to an ear bending chat over a flat white with a good friend. Whatever your choice of style or flavour, or your reason for drinking it, coffee is the worlds most consumed drink -with over 400 billion cups drunk worldwide each year.
This week, during UK coffee week, whilst getting together with friends, colleagues and families, people are encouraged to be aware of the coffee industry and help support the 3rd world countries that produce it. Most of the world’s coffee is produced between the tropics; the areas where water is most scarce.
We are offering a 10% discount on all printed tote bags (up to 1000 units) placed from the 11th to the 17th April 2016 to celebrate National Coffee Week. If you are a coffee shop or coffee related business we want to hear from you!
Just snapped our office manager Sarah enjoying a lovely cup of coffee in the meeting room, and just incase she forgets her name, we printed it on her mug!
“You can’t make coffee without fresh water - but more importantly we can’t live healthy lives without fresh water either. It is our most precious resource, so I am very proud to be a part of any initiative which extols the virtues of coffee with friends while helping provide fresh water for those who most need it.”
— Stephen Fry

Who we are
UK Coffee Week is a nationwide fundraising initiative that supports coffee growing countries through the vibrancy of coffee culture. All funds raised during the week go directly towards Project Waterfall to bring clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities.
It's our mission to create a united platform where coffee operators, trade professionals and consumers can join together in celebration of the coffee industry and raise funds to give back to the communities which grow our coffee.
Where the money goes
100% of funds raised during UK Coffee Week go directly to Project Waterfall, bringing clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities across the developing world.
Get involved, changing lives is simple
UK Coffee Week wouldn't be possible without the support and involvement of all our incredible partners, who take it upon themselves to raise money in their stores and change the lives of others by providing clean water and sanitation. Join us this UK Coffee Week to celebrate great coffee while making a life changing difference to coffee growing communities.
UK coffee week is sponsored by the Allegra foundation which raises funds for areas such as Tanzania and assists them with producing access to water facilities, so that women and children don’t have to walk up to 15 kilometres a day to get their days’ supply of water. To date, Project Waterfall has raised over £230’000 which has benefited over 10’000 people in Tanzania.
